In the aftermath of the recent wildfires that affected certain areas of our island, we would like to responsibly reassure you that there is absolutely no reason for concern regarding your safety or the quality of your holidays.
Our island, the fifth largest in Greece, covers a vast area and offers a rich variety of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and tourist attractions. The affected areas are limited in size in comparison to the size of the island, of course for us every part of it is special and painful to see it in flames, but it is not a total devastation. No tourist infrastructure has been damaged, and our beaches, landmarks, hiking trails, picturesque villages, and natural landscapes remain untouched—ready to offer you the experience you seek.
Daily life in Chios continues as normal, businesses are fully operational, and the island remains a safe, high-quality and authentic destination, renowned for its hospitality and unique character.
All tourism-related businesses—hotels, rental accommodations, shops, restaurants, and car rental services—are operating as usual and ready to welcome you.
